I have a volume of opinion already on record...and though it started out very positive there have been many wrinkles along the way. Your response time on questions from the web form during the COVID19 crisis have been abyssmal. I received a replacement after informing you I had already bought a new one to avoid having no-device-in-use for a critical period, and asked for satellite coverage instead and received replacement device instead. I took 2 months to test the consequences of probably every possible approach to setting the device parameters in advance ,and on-the-fly, over daily 4 hour walks on more than 100 square miles of rural upstate NY roads through a harsh and challenging winter. Your device seems to function flawlessly with the satellites, though mine became defective as things somtimes do. Your android app is plagued with lag, latency, buffering, and related issues. The manual update is essentially worthless in a time sensitive situation. The app and web app on a phone are unreliable in real-time tracking, but great if you need to know where something is and how it got there. If the web app on a phone browser was more responsive than the history map would be better than the android app in real time. I am presently reevaluating my situation and the appropriateness of Tracki to my needs.
